Beef Bulgogi

Makes 6-8 servings

Ingredients

1 package , or about 500g of bulgogi meat or flank steak. (You can find bulgogi meat in Asian grocery stores)

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup Asian pear, grated

3 tb brown sugar

1 tb mirin

1 tb sesame oil

1 tb Gochuchang

3 garlic cloves, grated

1 tb grated ginger

Sesame seeds and green onion to garnish

1. Mix all of the ingredients except for the beef in a large bowl.

2. Add the beef into the bowl. If you are using beef made for bulgogi (bulgogi meat), separate the slices. Don’t worry if the meat tears.

3. Give everything a stir and let it marinate for about 1 hour in the fridge. Take the meat out 30 minutes before cooking.

4. In a pan over high heat with vegetable oil, cook the meat until well done. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion, and serve with rice and vegetables.
