Chickpea Flour Brownies

Makes 1 9x9 pan

Ingredients
10 tbs unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chickpea flour
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1. Preheat the oven to 325F. Lightly oil a 9x9 cake pan and line the pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

2. Fill a small pot with water, about 1/4 of the way. Place the pot over medium-high heat. Place a large heat-proof bowl on top of the top, and add in the butter, sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Mix all together until the butter melts and a grainy batter forms.

3. Remove the bowl from the pot. Add the vanilla. Add in 1 egg and stir, and then add the next egg. Fold in the flour, and then the chocolate chips and walnuts.

4. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
