Snack Sessions For Kids: Fall Fruit Parfaits
We had a fun Fall Fruit Parfaits Snack Sessions! Here is the recipe:
Makes 1-2 small servings
Ingredients
1/2 cup oats
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
1/2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tb vegetable oil
Pinch of salt
1 apple, diced
1 pear, diced
Vanilla yogurt
Chocolate chips, and other add-ons like nuts and seeds.
1. In a small bowl, mix the oats, spice, brown sugar, maple syrup, vegetable oil and salt altogether. Place on tin foil or parchment paper and bake in a toaster oven for about 5-8 minutes in medium heat. Make sure to check the granola mid-way through.
2. Assemble the parfaits with the yogurt, fruits, granola, chocolate chips and other add-ons. Enjoy!
