Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Blondies (With Caramel)
Caramel by Sift Baking.
Makes 1 9x9 pan
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup gluten-free flour
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9x9 cake pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking oil. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, mix the butter and brown sugar until incorporated. Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract until incorporated, then fold in the flour and salt.
3. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the pan, and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until browned and a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy with caramel!
